Nice saturday evening with a Jazz concert organized by the Ollioules’ Municipality.
Double bass: Damien
Piano: Enzo
Battery: Cédric
Enzo is our neighbor and was at school with Anaïs, my daughter. He is a brilliant medical student and a music virtuoso in the same time.
Couldn’t imagine having such tallents at 22 years old. And a so nice and modest guy!
The Mayor of the town, Robert, was really under the charm of the music. He offered an olive tree baby, to each musician at the end. (I told you Ollioules=Olive in provençal language!)
It was a beautiful jazzy evening.
They played “You must believe in spring”, one of the compositions we appreciated particulary Mireille and me. (Mireille is a girlfriend I knew at the theater school, this year.)
“You Must Believe in Spring is the title of a song from the 1967 film Les Demoiselles de Rochefort. The song was composed by French composer Michel Legrand, under the name “Chanson de Maxence”. Wikipedia !

And here specially for Mr Lifecruiser, Lover of our Captain’! as I know he loves playing piano!
