Danish Refugee Council - DRC
The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is a private, humanitarian
organization covering all aspects of the refugee cause. The aim of the organisation is to protect refugees and internally displaced people (IDPs) against persecution and to promote durable solutions. Danish Refugee Council is an umbrella organization with 33 member organizations. The assistance to refugees consists in relief and other humanitarian aid, rehabilitation, removal of landmines, support to return and repatriation as well as contributions to the promotion of durable solutions. Support and capacity building of local and national authorities and NGOs form an integrated part of the work. The Danish Refugee Council works in more than 20 countries throughout the world.
