The International Rescue Committee is active in emergency relief, rehabilitation, protection of human rights, post-conflict development, resettlement services and advocacy for people uprooted or affected by violent conflict and oppression.
Aiming for durable solutions and improved governance, IRC enables people to rebuild their lives by providing education, training, economic assistance, strengthens the capacity of local organisations and supports civil society.
In terms of advocacy, the IRC calls attention to critical issues affecting refugees and persons affected by conflict around the world.
